Ever since Microsoft and Qualcomm announced their partnership to enable the full Windows 10 experience on ARM-powered notebooks, there has been speculation about what the purported specifications of such devices could be. Some of those speculations can now be put to rest as we've sighted a listing of what could be HP's first ARM-powered Windows 10 laptop, courtesy of the HP Care Pack site.

The HP Care Pack site lists the available Care Pack Services for a model, 2US29AV, along with some specifications. Apparently, the ARM-based laptop will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC supplemented by 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB UFS storage. Winfuture.de reports that this laptop could be configured with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS storage. The display would be a 12-incher but there are no details about the resolution, however, it would be safe to assume that these laptops would be enabled for touch and pen input. Geekbench also lists multiple sightings of ARM-powered Windows 10 laptops in its database, with listings going back as early as June 27 and featuring both Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 S variants. This implies that Microsoft and its partners would entice both professional and educational customers with the promise of all day connectivity and hitherto unseen battery life in notebooks.

HP is one of the OEMs alongside Asus and Lenovo that have pledged to release Windows 10 on ARM offerings. Although the initial demos of Windows 10 on ARM showed the ability to run Photoshop CC on a Snapdragon 820, Microsoft maintained that the first ARM-powered laptops would invariably be powered by the Snapdragon 835 and above SoCs.  Microsoft also hinted at the ability of Windows 10 on ARM laptops lasting easily for a couple of days before requiring to recharge. And unlike the failed Windows RT, which was more of a half-baked attempt, Windows 10 on ARM enables full x86 application support via emulation. The first ARM-powered laptops should arrive just in time for the holidays.
