Dominion Coming to iPad in Early 2015
Stop me if you heard this one before: Dominion is coming to iPad.
I know, we've been hearing this now since the Great Goko Fiasco of 2012, and then hearing new plans to get this thing out the door on and off ever since.
Well, now Dominion is in the hands of Making Fun now and yesterday we received this tweet:@iosboardgames @CarlDSwain @MakingFun I am playing a dev build on iPad right now. :-) It will ship in early 2015!!

Mr. Welsch is the president and founder of Making Fun, so I'm guessing he would have some insider knowledge about what's going on behind the scenes.
We can't get fooled again, can we?
Carcassonne for iOS Updates, Gets New Expansions
We mentioned that Carcassonne (2010) was getting a wintery update a couple weeks ago, and today that update went live.
In addition to the usual bug fixes and new art for iPhone 6 and 6+, The Coding Monkeys also managed to squeeze in a couple of expansions that you can nab via IAP.
The first expansion is basically Carcassonne: Winter Edition with the Gingerbread Man expansion included. This paints the French countryside in billowing mounds of white snow, and also has the gingerbread man who jumps from city to city, giving knights there presents which means more victory points. The Winter update can be purchased for $2.
The second expansion doubles all the tiles in the game, making for some epic Carcassonne games. This expansion can be bought for $1.
You can pick up Carcassonne for iOS Universal on the App Store, and it will run you $10.
Plague Inc. Making Joy Infectious
Plague Inc. from Ndemic Creations is usually known for making users feel a bit queasy about what they've accomplished. If you've played successfully, you've usually managed to destroy all human life on earth which, hooray! Just in time for the holidays, they've released a new update that includes a new scenario, Santa's Little Helper. This scenario has you spreading joy and happiness to a dystopian world that has outlawed fun. See, now you can play Plague Inc. over the holidays without it making you want to cry in your eggnog.
The update also includes another new scenario in which the foolish humans have developed means of teleportation. How much faster will the bugs spread?
There are also bug fixes, AI fixes and much more in the update.
It was just released for the iOS version, and will be coming to the Android and PC/Mac versions soon.
You can pick up Plague Inc. for iOS Universal here, or for Android here. Or, if you want the PC/Mac version, head to Steam.
Ascension Comes to PC
Playdek has just gone where they've never been: Steam. That's right, you can now pick up the much celebrated deckbuilder, Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer for PC on Steam.
This is the app that we've come to know and love on iOS and Android devices, and it has all 5 current expansion packs built in and offers cross-platform multiplayer.
You can nab Ascension for PC on Steam right now for $10.
