It's a decent port. Some of the videos play at half the framerate of others, so the presentation is a little inconsistent. Screen needs to be fixed so that it is horizontally centered, especially for current phones that have an awkward camera notch. Currently, the notch cuts into the game whilst leaving a big hole on the notch-free side of the screen. Having the game correctly respond to the phone's rotation would also take care of this issue.

Perfect nostalgia game. But, just as with Noodlecake's Realmyst, an old adjustment you make is reset near the end of the game--suddenly, you can't go around by linking through other books, and you can't go through because your pathway has been reset! At least with Realmyst you could skip the second page in one age and still finish the game: I can't finish this game.

This mobile version does a fantastic job of capturing the feel of the original. Unfortunately, there are numerous game breaking bugs that can and do completely halt your progress. There's a particular bug that I'm encountering that is preventing my progression. At the fire marble puzzle, the button to activate them doesn't respond no matter where I press. This is an unacceptable bug for a paid app. If I have to buy this, I expect full functionality. This is too severe an issue to be ignored.
