CES 2019 | MSI launches slim GS75/65 Stealth gaming laptops with RTX 2000 Max-Q graphics
With the advent of Nvidia's Max-Q mobility GPU lineup a few years ago, the slim gaming form factor has caught on and each respectable laptop OEM is now featuring a dedicated lineup. Besides all the hardware upgrades, MSI's 2019 thin and light Stealth series is getting a new stylish look. The thin bezels on the displays are increasing the levels of immersion, while the sandblast metallic black finish chassis adorned with an elegant gold trim adds to the overall pleasing aesthetics. Additionally, the golden hinge accent and aluminum alloy bring more rigidity and sturdiness.
Thanks to the new Max-Q GPUs from Nvidia, the 17.3-inch GS75 and the 15.6-inch GS65 Stealth can sport some of the slimmest chassis around without compromising the overall performance. The passive radiators also allow for a quieter experience, boosting the audio system potential. The list of standard features for both variants includes:
• Up to gen 8 Core i7 CPUs
• Up to RTX 2080 Max-Q GPUs
• FHD thin bezel 144 Hz IPS displays
• M.2 NVMe PCIe / SATA SSD combos
• Per-key RGB gaming keyboards by SteelSeries
• Dynaudio speakers + ESS Sabre audio card + Nahimic 3 audio enhancer
What sets the new Stealth models apart are the extra-large touch pad with silky smooth glass surface that highly improves responsiveness and pinpoint accuracy and the weight of the system (4.96 lbs for the 17.3-inch model and 4.18 lbs for the 15.6-inch model).
