    Ultrasone HFI-15G comparison

Does anyone here own the HFI-15G? I wonder if anyone could do a compare them to other heapdhones in the price range? Sennheiser HD238? Grado SR80/60 or the PortaPro? I know the PortaPro is half the price of the rest of these, but sound wise, they are in the same league or better. The HFI-15G...

    Ultrasone HFI-15G Appreciation Thread

In fact, I find strange that HFI-15G could not get the share it deserved in US markets (yes, this is probably because Ultrasone did not really wanted to, and the distributors as well) and I just wanted any "$80-120 interval's quality seeker" to know that HFI-15G is definitely one the best of its...

    Ultrasone HFI-15G /Creative Muvo2

...SL, which I had used at last (since it was way better than the Senn PMX 60, especially bass-wise). Comfort, weight, size and fit of the HFI-15G are fine imo. It feels good on the head with just the right pressure on the ears (I could even endure a little bit of a higher pressure, but...

    Just got Ultrasone HFI-15G !!!

I just picked up HFI-15G and I have been listening for like an hour. I gotta say these cans are amazing. I am using ipod video without an amp or a line out and these things deliver nice sound through out all the frequencies. I believe after the burn in and with a decent amp they have a great...

    Ultrasone Zino vs. HFI-15G

...I saw a stand that tried to sell some Jazz music and it let you control an iPod Classic and listen to the ripped music via the Ultrasone HFI-15G. I was immediately impressed by the sound quality, although the sound was more bassy and warmer than how I remembered the Zino. In my memory, Zino's...

What Do You Think About The Ultrasone HFI-15G?

Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/ULTRASONE-HFI-...3831007&sr=8-1 To quote someone on this forum..."The Ultrasone HFI-15G will blow the Sennheiser PX100 away. They are the best portable headphones for under $100. Does anyone have any idea if they are worth getting and how do they compare...

Sennheiser PX 100 or Ultrasone HFI 15G

After having an unpleasant experience with the tf10s I have decided to move on... I plan on getting one of the above....I am right now inclined to Ultrasones since they sound great and have an amazing soundstage but after reading a lot of happy reviews of PX 100( they are cheap too) I am...

    Opinions on Ultrasone HFI-15G's?

I use the pro 900's at home. Curious to the 15G's as a walk around pair. I worry they might be a tad too thin sounding. Anyone try them?

    Ultrasone 15g, different pads ?

I just ordered a pair of Ultrasone 15g and I doubt I'm going to like the pads on them. I owned the Sennheiser 407's and they have the same types of pads that muffle. I'm curious if there is a leather or fake leather pad that would fit on these and have atleast a 40mm opening. I say 40mm because...

    Looking for Headphone Recommendation!

Never heard the HFI-15G, but I heard several people say they like it better than the icans. The icans have moderate analytical detail, and it improves just marginally and at times sound overdriven with better gear, but their strength is their open and fun sound straight out of an mp3 player. If...

health issues associated with prolonged headphones use due to EMF pollution?

HFI 15G and HFI-580 should be a bit different sound signature, since the first is open-back and latter closed-back. I'd imagine the HFI-580 will be less airy but much more punchier. Another option is to get some emf shielding foil and line the bufferboard of the HFI-15G.

What Do You Think About The Ultrasone HFI-15G?

The Ultrasone HFI-15G is light and comfortable, though it seemed slightly heavier and larger than the iCans or PX100. I've heard demo units of the HFI-15G and iCans with my iPod/dock/Hornet portable rig. Both didn't sound very good to me. I have the PX100 and Koss KSC-75. I like them...

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)

Just bought an Ultrasone HS-15 off of ebay, it's basically their HFi-15g (which I also have) with a boom mic. I've been using the hfi-15g instead of my hfi-2200 in black ops for the past few days and found them to be very comparable. The 15g has much less bass than the 2200 which helped a lot...
