CEO of Asus, Jerry Shen, took to the stage at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2017 currently underway in Hawaii to announce the world's first Gigabit LTE laptop, the Asus NovaGo. The NovaGo is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. This is also the first notebook that runs full Windows 10 on the ARM CPU.

The NovaGo comes in a convertible form factor. The notebook's connectivity is bolstered by the presence of 4 Carrier Aggregation and 4x4 MIMO antenna support that helps in relieving data congestion and increasing data speeds. Users can use both eSIMs and Nano SIMs on the device. The Snapdragon 835 SoC is complemented by up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage. The main USP of the device is the promise of all-day computing. The NovaGo offers up to 22 hours of battery life (video playback), up to 30 days of standby time, and comes with support for Windows Ink, Windows Hello, and Cortana.

ASUS NovaGo reinvents the concept of laptop connectivity and productivity — it’s the world’s first announced laptop that is connected virtually anywhere, at any time, with the new Gigabit LTE network*; and lasts up to 22 hours on a single charge for ‘all-day’ battery life.”
